Existing news - Little Claire Design Team

I have had some existing news, i have been asked to be a design team member for Little Claire. They have a lovely website and the stamps are gorgeous. i only have a couple of stamps at the moment, but that will change, I'm not sure which ones to buy first as they have lots to choose from.

There are 20 of us in the team, i have been and had a quick look and there are some great cards. They are hoping to start a challenge blog shortly, but in the mean time have a look at there blog Little Claire.

Tilda fan

As i said yesterday, i went shopping to my local craft shop as they were having there summer sale. It was packed, and it's only a little shop. As i was wondering around i found the Magnolia stamps, and i got chatting to a lady who was telling how lovely the stamps were, as i am still new to stamping i had only seen them a couple times, so i decided to buy one ( well three to be exact) and i have fell in love with them. so here's my first Tilda Card and i am going to enter it into a challenge.

I have used Princesses Tilda, coloured in using Promarkers, paper from DCWV sweets range, flower and gold glitter brad from my craft stash. i have also used stckles - crystal on her dress and tiera.

I will be entering this card in to Totally Tilda Challenge Blog - Chocolate.

Hope you like it. Also i some of my cards have been put on the Little Claire Blog, it's a lovely site and if you like Little Claire, it's great.

Just a quick post

I will have to do a quick post tonight, as i have just seen the time and my washing is still out and i have to do tea yet. I have been playing with my new stamps that i have purchased today. I am now a member of the Tilda club, i will bring you my first Tilda card tomorrow as i have to take a picture. i have also made my first Christmas card of the year........ i know it's only July and the sun is shining.

I have a challenge card for you tonight, i made it for a friend who wanted a card foe her nephew.


I have used Dudley Balloon from Pollycraft, coloured in using promarkers, I'm not sure where i have had the paper from, the stamp sentiment is made up of two different stamp set from my craft stash. i have also coloured in the no 2 with promarkers.

i am entering this card into Passion for Promarker - think of a number.

i will be back tomorrow with my Tilda card.

New Challenge

What a fantastic day, the weather is fab, so hot..... it looks like a BBQ tonight and another one tomorrow when the football's on. I have a challenge project for you today - well three challenges and one book. I have decorated another book, this one is for me, i thought it was about time i needed a new book my last one is falling apart.

I have gone for a blue and brown theme, i have used Pollycrafts Cherry Kiss - Shopping, coloured in using promarkers, papers from the Big One from Docrafts, glitter cardstock, flowers, ribbon and gems from my craft stash and rub - on shopping Queen from Docrafts. I am going to enter this into 3 challenges

Pollycraft - No cards but glitter and/or lace.
Passion for Promarkers - your favourite things.
I Love Promarkers - Sketch.

I'm off to enjoy the rest of the sun and get the BBQ on. Hope you like my new book and i should be back later with another challenge.

Book decorating

I have decided to decorate a book, i have done them be for, but not with a stamped image. I'm not entering it in to any challenges but i have emailed Little Claire as it is one of there stamps.

I have to say not the best picture, as it was taken with my iphone. I have used Little Claire's stamp Bloom fairy set, coloured in using promarkers, paper is from my stash and i can't remember where i had it from, flowers, ribbon and gems also from my stash. I have also used stickles - crystal on her wings, but I'm not sure that you can see it.

Hubby's birthday card

As promised yesterday, i have the birthday card that i made for my lovely hubby. I know it may look a bit strange, but he is very much into alien's and UFO's so i thought this image from Pollycraft - Critters and Cogs Star sum's him up.

I have used the Pollycraft image - Critters and Cogs 'star' coloured in using promarkers, papers are from Hello space boy, banner and star's from my craft stash.

I am going to enter this card in the Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge male/father day. He told me he liked it, hope you do to. I will be back later in the week with another card.

Pink it is

I am entering two challenges this week, i know i am a bit late as the Pollycraft - ribbon and bling ends today, but it was my hubby's birthday yesterday and i didn't feel wright making cards on his day, but we did have a lovely day the sun was shinning, and the football was on(but we missed the first goal due to ITV HD).

anyway back to my challenge card and it is pink.

I have used Pollycraft's Codi - flowers coloured in using Promarkers, stickley -Crystal on the dress, background paper DCWV sweets, ribbon (purchased yesterday) from my local craft shop and it has glitter heart's on it, pink adhesive stones and happy birthday banner from Little Claire.

London pictures, challenge win and blog candy

As i said in my last post last night, i have some pictures from my trip to London, but first i have a card that i have made. it is for a friends sister's birthday, i have a couple of them over the last couple of weeks.

I have used an image from Pollycraft, coloured in using promarkers, papers from the DCWV range called sweets, and flowers from my craft stash. i hope she likes it. I love the colours they are so bright.

Any way back to my pictures of London,

I had some fab news today, as i found out that i have won a prize in the passion for promarkers, anniversary blog challenge last week. this has made me very happy and a great way to finish my holiday. I have also found some fab blog candy, it is on a crafting blog called Barn life. She has updated her blog and wanted to celebrate with some blog, so go check it out. Her website is fab, and has lots of great ldeas. Here is a link to the Barn life blog, Barn Life. it only on till 21st June.

Lack of posts

I feel as i have been neglecting my blog a bit lately, i haven't had much time over the last couple of weeks, with doing my veg patch in the gardening and last week i was on holiday in London meeting friends. I had a fab time, we went to see Wicked which was fab, the London eye again ( my hubby proposed to me on the London eye 6 years), and a trip to the Kipling shop on regent street, where purchases were made. i will hopefully bring you some pictures later in the week and some more cards. It's my hubby birthday on Saturday so i will be posting then with his card. will be back in the week......see you then.

Happy Birthday Mom

Well tomorrow is my mom's birthday, and i will be traveling to London to meet some friend's. So today my hubby and me took my mom and dad out for dinner, and i gave her her present, and have started her in the Kipling handbag club, she opened her card and loved it.


I have used Lili of the Valley Mom stamp, coloured in with Promarkers ( as normal at the moment), paper are from DCWV, but i can't remember which stack, ribbon, flowers and banner from craft stash.

Hope you like it as much as my mom.

New challenge and blog candy

I can not believe it been over a week since my last post, where does the time go. It only a quick post today as I'm off out on a girlie night to see the new sex and the city movie, anyway to my card. A friend asked me to make her sister a card for her birthday, and she said anything goes, which is great for me as that's the name of this weeks Passion for Promarks challenge.

I have used Lili of the valley's stamp, coloured in using promarkers, Papermania Amethyst Infusion paper, lilac sticky ribbon and flower and brad from my craft stash, the happy birthday banner was a stamp from Little Claire.

I love Lili of the valley products and i love blog candy, so when the two are combined it's great. They are giving away a full set of 12 stamps, check out there blog here lili of the Valley.

Wedding card

I have been asked to make a wedding card for a friend. There theme is red and black, i made this card with two challenges in mind, Pollycraft sketch, but i was to late in entering, but i am still going to enter it in to Magical Crafts Fortnightly challenge - Black, white and another colour.


I have used Pollycraft Cherry kiss Wedding digi stamp, colour in using promarkers, papers are from DCWV wedding range, i have used black satin ribbon, flowers and brads from my craft stash, i have also used red gem stones on her dress and have coloured in her veil and tiera with stickles - crystal. I love using this and use it on most of my cards.

Blue for a change

Well i have enjoyed the first of my two days off making lots of cards and blog hopping, i have found a couple of new blogs that i like the look of, and some new challenge blogs, one i have decided to enter today. Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge. There challenge is a sketch challenge, and here is my entry

die cut but I like sketch challenge's as they make think, i have to use more colours, papers and any else i can find in my craft stash. So for today card i have used Daisy the camper van stamp from Little Claire Designs, coloured in using promarkers and again in my new favour it colour of the moment blue, and cut out with nestabilities - classic scalloped circles large, the paper is DCWV, flowers, card stock from my craft stash, brads are from Papermania Glitter brads and the swirls the top right corner and bottom left, i used a Sizzixdon't know what it's called as i have had it for so long, but cut them out in blue glitter card

I do have a top tip for you today. I have been making a card for a friend, she loves glitter and i had finished making the my stamped image kept falling off. A couple of weeks ago i went to the Secret Crafter shop as it's only 10 minuets away from me, and told me about Collall Photoglue, they said it will stick anything - and there were right. I used it on the card (after it had fell off 3 times) and it works (it hasn't fell off all afternoon). So now I'm really happy and thought I'd should pass the information on to fellow crafter.

A new challenge

I have finally made my new challenge card for the Secret Crafter - Saturday blog challenge 82 - 3 embellishments, 2 papers, 1 image. I have been finding it hard the last couple of weeks to have any crafty mojo, but i hope it back this week. I have a real blue theme going on, i really love the duckegg blue promarker and i have found some really great papers that i had tucked away in the cupboard.


so for this weeks challenge i have used Pollycraft's shorbet - daydream stamp, coloured in using promorker(duckegg blue), papers are from Docarfts Big one (over 200 papers) silver mirror card, flower, ribbon and gems from my craft stash. Hope you like it, i will be back later in the week with some new cards as i have booked a couple of days off, so I'm planning on card making.

New Baby

I can not believe that a week has gone by and i haven't posted a new card, i feel like my creativeness had gone on a walk this week, this is the first week that i haven't entered a challenge. I have made lots of cards but nothing i would enter, my card that i made for the Pollycraft challenge - make your own flowers was going really well until i stared having problems with the ribbon, so i decided to leave it for this week. I have made a new baby card from my friend, this is her third boy, she was hoping for a girl.

I have used the Pollycraft Freebie Willie, coloured in using promarkers, background paper from buzzcraft, buttons, banner and ribbon from my craft stash. I do like this card it is one of my better cards made this weekend. Here is another card that i think worked out ok.

I have used Pollycraft's Sherbet - Seeds of Love, (one of the many new stamps i have purchased this week), coloured in using promarkers, DCWV butterfly background paper and the butterfly punch from Docrafts. Hope you like them.
