With bunches of love

Well what a week, i feel absolutely rotten, i had a really bad cold, which i think i picked up at the my niece and nephews christening last Sunday, but i thought I'd make a card to cheer me up. I have decided to have a go a 3 challenges this week, Just Cute Bears - Flowers, Forever Friends - Spring and Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - Get Well Soon.

I have used a forever friends decoupage with bunches of love banner, backing paper from DCWV the pocket full of posies matstack, ribbon from docrafts and flowers from my craft stash, and it is all in lilac - my favourit colour. Hope you like it.

Spring is here

I think spring is finally here, after a horrible winter, it's really nice to have some sun. So today with that in mine i thought I'd make my challenge card for Just Cute Bears - Green and Yellow Challenge and also enter in to the Secret Crafter - Saturday Challenge How Does Your Garden Grow.

I have used Lili of the Valley bear with flower stamp,coloured in using promarkers, paper from DCWV The Glitter Stack, yellow glitter card stock and flowers, brads and ribbon from my local craft shop. i am really getting in to stamping at the moment and love using promarkers, i do also us watercolour, but the promarkers are winning hands down at the moment. Hope you like my card, i will be back later with some more cards.

2 for 1

I'm back after making Easter card, to making challenge cards. I am going to try and enter two challenges with one cards. Lili of the Valley - who's theme is Blue and Sliver and Pollycraft Monday Challenge - which is anything goes. I have used Thomas - big bunch of flowers stamp, coloured in usingtpromarkers, sliver mirror card, and blue paper from Docrafts the Big One, which i have for ages, and flowers from my craft stash. I found this challenge hard as i'm not a blue person, i'm more of a pink and liliac girl, but that's the hole idea of a challenge. hope you like it until next time.

Just a quick post

while my Easter dinner is cooking, can i say what a lovely day it's today, the sun is shining and it not to cold. Any way to some new cards, i have been i like everyone busy making Easter cards. i have make two sets, one for the mom's and dad's and one for the brother and sister. First the mom's and dad's one.

I have used Pollycraft spring image, coloured in with promarkers, DCWV Easter paper, glitter card stock and flowers from my craft stash. I have made this blue card for my hubby's mom and dad, and i have made my own mom and dad's in yellow's and lemon's.

i again used a pollycraft spring image, coloured in again with promarkers, DCWV Easter paper and cardstock, flowers and banner from my craft stash. As like before i have kept the theme running with both family's, this is my brother and sister in laws card and my hubby's sister and brother in law's is in blue. hope you like the cards and i will hopefully be back in the next couple of day with some challenge entries.

Happy Easter

After my busy weekend at the NEC on Saturday and playing with all my new crafts that i purchased on Saturday on Sunday, i have finally made my Easter card for the Just Cute Bear Challenge. I have used a Lili of the Valley bear with flower stamp, i have used promarkers to colour it in, Easter paper from DCWV and flowers and ribbon from my local craft shop. hope you like it and i will be back later in the week with some more Easter card's.

look what i picked up at the NEC

Sorry not really, they were there for memorabilia , which was also there yesterday. Here's what i really picked up to add to my craft stash.


As you can see i picked a nice little collection, and i have to say I'm in love with promarkers. I brought the starter pack and skin tones pack from Little Claire, they have a demo on there website, so we (hubby and me) watched it last night, have to say very informative and funny well worth a look. I haven't made a complete card today as i have been playing with the promarkers and the new stamps which i purchased, so there will be some new cards later in the week.

I also had a surprise this morning as i had won (by random) the Just cute Bear Challenge for last week, thank you to Just cute Bears for letting me have the chance to win. See you later in the week.

What a day

What a day it has been, i have been to the NEC craft show, with my hubby and mom and dad. I had a great time, i have brought lots of new things, 5 stamps, ink pads, flowers, and lots more. mom brought lots of jewellery to add to her stash while hubby and dad were there to help carry the bags. After 6 hours of shopping and a lovely meal I'm finally home, i have entered in to the spirit of earth hour, and now i have finally had chance to look at my purchases, and photos i have taken of some of the memorabilia characters. i am going to have a play with my purchases tomorrow so will bring you some new cards then, so until then good night.

Another Challenge

I'm here again entering another challenge. I was late entering last weeks Just Cute Bears Challenge, so i thought I'd get in a bit earlier for this weeks. The challenge is number 9# a sketch by Jane. I'm really getting into the challenges at the moment and for this one i thought I'd make a black, white and grey card, i used the Pollycraft free download - the thanks bear, the paper is from Papermania - Ivory Black creative tones, flowers from Bee Crafty's in Bloom range and black card stock and ribbon from my local craft shop. As with my other challenges over the wekend i have used watercolour pencils, but i have only coloured them in and not water coloured them - i can not bring myself to do it as my first couple of tries didn't turn out very well, but i hope this card is ok.

3 Challenge's in 1 day

I have a just finished my last challenge card of the day this was is for The Forever Friend's Challenge Blog - Sketch Challenge. This is my first time of entering this challenge blog, so i hope it's ok. I have used my Forever Friends stamp that i had free with my Docrafts magazine, paper from DCWV Retro stack, card stock, flowers and banner from my craft stash. I also thought I'd have a change from the pinks and lilac's that I'm always doing. I am only just getting into stamping and only have the one Forever friends stamp, but i hoping this will all change next week after going to the NEC Craft show. A fellow crafter has lent me some stamps to see how i get on with stamping and i have recently purchased some watercolour pencils. which i have used to colour in my forever Friends bear. Hope you like cards that i have made today.

2 down 1 to go

I'm back again with my next challenge of the day, Pollycraft Monday Challenge 36# sparkly things. A couple of weeks ago i purchased a few Pollycraft images and this was one of them, Spring Things - blossoming friendship, i love cats, so this has become one of my favour designs. For this card i have used DCWV sweets backing paper which has glitter all over it , ribbon from my local craft shop and flowers from my craft stash.


And to add some extra sparkle i have added stickles - crystal to all the blossom on the tree. I love stickles - crystal and use it as much as i can. it's not a great picture (sorry) but i think you get what i mean.

i hope you like it, i have really enjoyed using this image. i am hoping to post my last challenge for today later, if not it will have to be tomorrow.

1st challenge of the day

Today is the first day that i have had to myself for the last couple of months, so today i am going to try and make cards for 3 challenges that i would like to enter. The first cards i have made is for just cute bears challenge 8# All White. I have found this a challenge this week, but that the fun. I have used the free Pollycraft thanks bear, and coloured it in my favour colours lilac, i have used an A6 sized card for this challenge and have embossed the hole of the card, using a Cuttlebug flower design, i then used white ribbon from my local craft shop, i have used 3D pads to make the image stand out and finished it off with some white glitter flowers and peal brads. i hope you like it, will be back later with another card.

What a weekend

What a weekend it has been, and it now Sunday night and it's back to work tomorrow. Friday was my sister in law's birthday, Saturday was my niece's 2nd birthday and today is mother's day, so we have spent the part of the day at mother in law's and the other at my mom's

For my sister in law's card i have used my forever friends stamp from Docrafts, card stock from DCWV butterfly's and flowers from in bloom at Beecrafty, she loves forever friends so i hope she likes it.


For my niece's 2nd birthday i purchased Cherry kiss frame - daisey chain, card stock from Kanban, flowers and ribbon from my local craft shop. i know she's only 2 but i hope she likes it.

My Just Cute Bears Challenge

I'm having a go in the Just Cute Bears Challenge no 7 Mother's day. As i have send before in my post's i love lilac so i went with a lilac theme for my mothers day card, i used lilac paper from Docarfts and forever friends decoupage with bunches of lover banner , glitter card stock and ribbon from my craft shop MSA crafts and a flower from Bee crafty's bloom's range. hope you like my mothers day card.

Craft Show

This weekend was my craft show at the Red cone's craft market, and i had a great time. I meet lots of lovely people (fellow crafters and buyers). and i would like to thank you all for coming to see me. I'm now looking forward to spending some money at the NEC craft show in a couple of weeks time to restock, i have also just purchased some pollycraft digital downloads for my niece's 2nd birthday this weekend, so i will be back later in the week with her card. But until then here are some of my cards and books from the show, hope you like them.

What a lovely surprise

I have just had a lovely surprise, when reading the latest issue of Docrafts creativity magazine, i saw a picture of myself at my last craft show in November, i looked down at the paper and thoughts that's me. My lovely hubby had wrote in to docrafts to say how proud he was of me. for the full story have a look at this issue of the magazine. thank you to my lovely hubby.
