The craft market

This weekend was my craft show at the Red cone's craft market, and i had a great time. I meet lots of lovely people (fellow crafters and buyers). and i would like to thank you all for coming to see me. i am hoping to do more dates next year, but i will have to wait and see. P.S if any body reads the Express and star evening paper i am in there on page 5 of tonight's paper.

I can believe that it's finally here, my craft show at the red cone, is tomorrow, with all my preparation i still don't feel ready, i have lots of cards, bookmarks, books, tags and even tea tree holders that i have decorated. so please wish me luck and i hope to see you there. if you come, come over and say hello. here are a couple of things i have made this week.

2 weeks to go

i have had a great weekend, Friday i went to the NEC craft show and spent a lot of money, (all on things i needed of course) i had a really good time, and found lots of things to inspire me for my craft show in two weeks, i took my mom, who brought a lot of things for jewellery making and my dad and hubby who carried our bags and who i sent off to find things that i had seen but couldn't remember which stall they were on. So full of inspiration i have made lots more cards to the 109 that i have all ready made, here are some of my cards and there are a lot more on the Docrafts website, there is a link below. hope you like them.

3 Weeks to go

only 3 weeks to go to the craft market, I'm off to the NEC craft show this weekend and hoping to get some more ideas, I'm taking my mom who is in to making jewellery at the moment, my dad and hubby who are there to carry the bags. here are a couple of my Christmas cards.

4 Weeks to go

Well it's only 4 weeks to go to my big craft show at the red cone, i have made a start on my cards and have started making gift boxes today, in between the Christmas cards and other things i am making, my sister in law asked for a supply of cards, which she normally buys about 20 in one go. so all last week i was making her cards. what a month

sorry it's been a long time since my last blog, but i have been up to lots of stuff, at the start of September, my new nephew was born, his name is Sam. i have been on holiday to Cornwall , which was lovely, i have never been there before and had a great time, i went to the MSA craft dabble day, with my hubby we had a great time and learnt lots of new things. i have started my Christmas cards, but no pics yet. i am now looking forward to the craft show at Birmingham NEC
in November and my big craft show at the red cone. here's a pic of my card to Sam.

Long time no blog

I can't believe that it been over a month since my last post, i don't know where my time is going, my two week holiday seems like a dream, i have been busy, making cards and getting things ready for my next crafts show in November. i am about to start on my Christmas cards ready for the event, but here are a couple of birthday cards i have made.

first week of my holidays

I can't believe that it's Thursday on my first week of my two week holiday, and tomorrow is my sister - in - laws wedding day. It has been a bit of a strange week really, as some of my hubby's Italian family were due to come over for the wedding, but because of ill health they couldn't come. I had lots of things planned for us to do, and had booked tickets to London, but instead i have had a bit of retail therapy by buying lots of crafts this week. I went to The Range on Tuesday and started to get bits in ready for Christmas and i have bought some bits of eBay. I have also had some time to make some new cards, hope you like them.

Dad's birthday

it's my dad's birthday this week, and i make a card for myself and one from my brother, who also buys my cards from me. It is also my old neighbours birthday on Sunday and they are having a get together so here's her card, hope you like them,

it's been a busy week

it's been a busy week this week, i have some of my hubby's Italian family coming to stay with us in a couple of weeks time for his sister's wedding, so i have been moving furniture around so they can sleep some where, this means my craft room is in a right miss, but i have found time and space to make a couple of cards, hope you like them.

my next craft event

i have just booked my next craft event, it will be at the red cone and it will on 21st and 22nd of November, it will be my 2nd craft event for the cone and this time I'm doing both days, and it's a Christmas craft fair, so it be nice for all the Christmas goodies.

The end of the birthdays

well at long last the rush on making cards for June is now coming to an end, with only fathers day to come at the end of the week. it was my hubby's birthday last week i have made him two cards, the lucky thing, one i have made is called billy and it'd from the patchwork kit had from QVC, and the other one i made is because he is really in the star gazing. on the same day it was my best friends 10th wedding anniversary and she really likes forever friend,

Mom's Birthday Card

it' s my mom's birthday come up this week, and i like to find things that are special for her, she like flowers and more traditional things, especially when it comes to cards, so this time i have gone for a very traditional look with the rose on the card but i have put some glitter around the edges of the roses around the out side. It will also be my mother in laws birthday and my mom has asked me to make a card for her, i hope they both like the cards that i have done for them, the card for my mother in law from my husband and myself will be shown next week when i have a chance to make it,

Keeping mom busy

Since my mom retired she has been trying to keep herself busy with one thing and another from knitting to now jewellery making. i have taking her to some craft events and has enjoyed, so at Christmas i brought her some kits to have a go at making some jewellery and last week she decided
to have a go and i think they have turned out well. As you can see so far she has done a bracelet and key chain.

As i have said before in my blogs it's a busy month for birthdays and events, this week it's still the same, i have a 4oth birthday for a friend at work, she likes purple and forever friends, i also have made some tags for the gifts that we have brought her from work. She likes a well known bag company so i have decided to make the tags like her favorite bag, until till next time

I have been spending

I thought today that i would go and have a spend to buy some new crafts, the new creativity magazine from Docrafts was out and i knew there would be lots lovely things to buy, with having Lot's more birthday's and wedding anniversary's to come this month including my mom's at the end of the month, which i have to buy something special for as she had seen a lot of my cards before, as she is one of my best customers. i decided to buy some forever friends die cut packs and the new butterfly punch which is great, i did buy something for my mom but i haven't made today as i have other cards to make first hope you like the new cards, see you soon.

Lot's more cards

As i said it's a busy month for me this month, my sister in law is getting married in July and she has sent out her invitations, so i have made her and my brother in law to be, there RSVP card, it was also my friends wedding anniversary and i know she likes forever friends, so i have made she a forever friends card but i have added some sparkle to the fireworks it make it stand out, but unfortunately with the joy came sad news of a family member passing away. There are lots more cards to come, but i hope you like these ones.

Lot's of birthdays

I can't believe it's nearly may, and like the end of Jan and beginning of Feb i have Lot's of birthdays coming up in the next couple of months. It starts with my father in law's and a friend from work. As my father in law loves boats, i have made him a boat card, hope you like what i have done,

A new look blog

I was feeling very crafty this week and i hadn't had time to make any cards or any of my scrapbooking that i wanted to do (due to being not very well) and i had a chat with my hubby and told him i wanted some help in changing the look of my blog. After having a look at what other bloggers are doing, i now have a new look blog, and as you can see it's had a bit of a make over, hope you like what i have done.

A quiet week

Well this week I've had a quiet week and have only made a couple of cards, an RSVP to a 40th birthday and a 18th birthday niece card for a colleague at work, but i have the week off next week so i will hopefully make some new cards or at least to have a go at my Disney scrapbook that I've been wanting to do since Feb. until next time here are the couple of cards i did this week.
